Elva Leaves Warner Music

Elva has met with a bad spade of luck this 2 years while trying to release her album, and so her managing company has bought over from Warner Music Taiwan the copyright of all her songs, to prevent them from releasing a compilation when she leaves the record company.

Her manager revealed that Warner Music Taiwan is only in charge of releasing her album, and all copyright belongs to Elva's managing company. She also did not deny that Elva has already regained freedom.

Since 2005, Elva's career in Warner Music has not been smooth. During that year when she was slated to release her new album, the management of Warner was not satisfied with the album and the release date was postponed indefinitely. Subsequently, the vice-president (Chen Ze Shan) who signed her into Warner left the company, she broke her leg when filming her music video, her mum had to undergo tumour operation and this year she was embroiled in the Edison scandal. Recently, the management of Warner were retrenched when Chen Ze Shan returned to the company.

After 6 years of bad luck, her manager revealed that Elva has finished recording 12 songs for her album and they have been getting in touch with other record companies. They hope that when Elva releases her album in May, she can work in a new environment for a change of luck.
