TAIWANESE songbird Elva Hsiao has certainly lived up to the name of her new album - 3-faced Elva.
During her concert in Taichung last month, Elva transformed from dancing queen to sexy spy, Greek goddess and more.
She teased and taunted her way through two hours of song and dance for a screaming crowd of 20,000.
Her flashy costumes were designed to wow - they hugged every curve and showed off her lean, toned legs.
One moment she was a sexy secret agent, bursting onto the stage in a cleavage-spilling toga top and a pair of 'diamond shades' that she said was inspired by the movie The Matrix.
Elva, 29, went on to lead the audience in the funky 'mo mo cha cha' dance that she recently popularised.
Taking it slow for her new ballad, Impulse, she transformed into a Barbie doll clad in a soft, floaty yellow dress.
Next, the drama queen in her came out to play - in a red-and-black corset that was said to be 'baroque meets Moulin Rouge'.
She rounded up her act with two more outfit changes - a dreamy Greek goddess-like orange dress and a simple but sleek ensemble of a white tank top over red snakeskin pants.
The good news for Singapore fans is that you can get to see a modified version of this concert when Elva arrives later this month for album promotions.
She held her last autograph session here in 2003. She also staged a much-lauded solo concert that year.
Come 20 Sep, Elva will do a showcase at 8pm at Singapore Expo's The Max Pavilion for an estimated crowd of 4,000.
Fans can expect to see her belt out five or six songs and banter and play games with the audience.
Tickets to the showcase are included in the re-packaged version of her album, which is out in stores here.
Also included is a pass to Elva's autograph session, to be held at Bishan Junction 8 at 2.30pm on 21 Sep.
