Elva to Hold Taipei Concert on New Year's Eve
After waiting for more than four years, Elva is finally holding her own concert at the Taipei Arena on New Year's Eve, making her the first singer to do so since the Arena opened in 2005. Also, the concert will be starting at 930pm instead of the usual 730pm, as Elva will be counting down to 2010 with her fans.
"I'm having very mixed feelings now. I'm feeling nervous, happy and excited. But I promise that I will bring the house down!"
As for her next album, she revealed that she had specially written a song for her idol, Michael Jackson, and incorporated many of his greatest hits in the lyrics. She said that she had so much inspiration when she first heard the demo that she requested to write the lyrics.
After watching many of Michael's past interviews and performances, she managed to complete the song. "Don't you think he is so handsome, like a prince?" she said.
