Elva Gets Excited in New Hits Showcase

Elva held a New Hits Showcase on 2 June to show her fans the effort that she has put in after joining EMI Virgin and to let her fans preview her latest music video "Impulsive" (冲动), which is shot with korean star Jang Hyuk. She said: "It's really tiring. The album has 3 concepts, 3 images, and 3 directions. It's like producing 3 albums!"

Besides having a great interaction with Jang Hyuk in the music video, Elva also said that he is a true actor, and to act opposite him was such a thrill. "I have to congratulate him. Today's (2 June) his marriage ceremony!" When asked if she had been mesmerised by him, she replied "Please, he is getting married!"
But Elva admitted that she had the same fate as portrayed in the ending of the music video. Because she did not express her true feeling, she missed a chance to build a relationship. "When I'm touched, my confidence disappears. Coming up with a lot of questions added to my hesitation."
There are 3 characters in her latest album, so which one is her favourite? Elva explained that "earnest Elva" is who she is in real life, "independent Elva" is who everyone thinks she is on stage and "brave Elva" is who she is with her female friends. She revealed that she love "earnest Elva", because there is no tinge of a singer life associated with it, and she can live muddle-headedly.

EMI Virgin Asia Vice-President Huang Wei Jing (黃偉菁) also announced their "3-Nos" strategy - No self-buying of albums by the company, No refund, and No comparison. They even said Elva is a "hot stock", saying that they have full confidence in this album.
