Elva Celebrates with Hito Chart

Hito Chart (Hito 排行榜) celebrated its one month opening on TV today, with Elva joining in the celebrations. In addition, Hito also invited the deities San Tai Zi (3 Princes) to perform with Elva. Elva commented: "They are so cute!", when she first saw the princes in person. Naughty Elva had a lot of fun with them, poking their noses and tying up their hair. The host of the event, Ah Juan, dressed up as the popular Taiwan TV character "Pearl Princess" (還珠格格). Elva laughed: "The character is so lovable. A netizen recently had posted a video of the princes dancing along to Elva's latest hit "I'll Be There", after watching the video, she said: "It's very interesting! And the 3 princes are so cute. Combining my latest album with Taiwan's traditional culture is pretty creative. With the blessings from the deities, I believe that Ah Juan's programme and my album would achieve fantastic results." Although Elva is known for the Rain Queen because her concert would usually draw rain, this time the sun was shining brightly and Elva nearly could not take the heat.

To wish the Hito Chart higher ratings and higher sales for Elva's album, she specially ignited firecrackers to celebrate the event. Elva was not afraid at all, as she slowly walked off fom the firecrackers after igniting them. "I'm like a boy. Last time I used to throw crackers at my friends just before they exploded!" However her leg was hit by the spark "It's alright, as long as it doesn't hit my face." The girls surrounding were extremely scared and Elva laughed "I like looking at girls when they are scared. It's very interesting."
Recently Elva was spotted with different guys, and she explained that they were just friends. She also said that her latest album was named 1087 was partly because she had once spent 1087 days searching for love. Because of love, she had gave up her career, turning down the offer for the role in "Memoirs of a Geisha" and living on her own in New York without a job. This cost her more than millions of dollars. Eventually she gave up when her boyfriend was two-timing. "What's done has been done. I'm over it."

Even so, she said that she still yearns for love and wish to know more guys through different opportunities. As for marriage, she said that her mum is pretty strict and the fortune teller told her that getting married at a later age would bring her luck, so marriage is not in consideration now. She said that if two person are in love, they would not need a piece of paper to justify their love. "Women need to be nourished with love, so they can bloom into a beautiful flower. As for now, I'm still waiting for a chance to blossom."
Elva will be devoting her time to drive her career forward. She wished to become a all-rounded artiste in singing and acting. Her idols are Maggie Cheung and Faye Wong, who have had a great balance between their career and personal life. Elva once had problem balancing her personal life and work, and now she wants to find new joy in her work. She said that she had once been invited by Faye Wong's manager to sing KTV after a charity show, and she got the chance to sing in front of her idol. Faye Wong even requested her to sing "The Theme Song of Love". She felt that the diva is very candid and she hopes to live with an attitude like her.
