Elva is Back... with EMI?
It highly possible that Elva will be signing on with her previous record company, EMI Taiwan., at a contract fee of NT$250m. The price is twice the amount offered to Jolin, Stefanie Sun and A-mei.

Stefanie, who has ended her contract with EMI, is rumoured to return to Warner Music Taiwan. As for Elva returning to her old record company, Her manager, Chen Xiang Jun (陈香君) revealed "Their offer is pretty attractive."
When pressed further for the confirmation of this rumour, she said "We have had a pleasant meeting, but nothing's confirm yet. But what touched us is that the EMI's team treats Elva like a family member and are willing to work together for her future."
The details of the contract remains a rumour, as Chen said "If there's indeed a collaboration, money is definitely not the main consideration. It will be mostly because of the all-rounded development."
The NT$250m contract fee is large enough to sign on to 2 pop divas, Elva's manager said "I can't reveal the actual figure, but it will most probably be reflected in our collaboration plans."
According to sources, Elva will be taking a big step into the movie industry and collaborating with international artistes, making her an all-rounded artiste. EMI Chinese Division Vice President cum Taiwan Manager said "We will provide a multi-dimension platform and an excellent team to work hand-in-hand with Elva... As you know, the music industry is not doing very well, but Elva is a superstar, so her contract fee will not be too low." Elva is currently involved in the cover photoshoot, and she has finished recording 11 songs. Her album is expected to be released in late May or early June. For the next half of the year, she will be embarking on her concert tour and movie plans will be realised next year.
