Elva Sizzles in MTV Style Gala Awards 2007

The MTV Style Gala Awards 2007 (MTV超級盛典), held in Shanghai, China on 23 Nov, attracted lots of celebrities from various part of the world to grace the event. Amongst the list were Paris Hilton, Sammi Cheng and Elva Hsiao.

Paris Hilton was the centre of the media's attraction when she arrived at the red carpet, stealing the limelight from everyone. Elva walked the red carpet dressed in a cool androgynous outfit created by a Japanese designer that drew praise from Paris Hilton when she saw her.
Elva performed her song Confession (表白) during the award ceremony and presented the Most Fashionable International Artiste of the Year to Paris Hilton. She also won Most Stylish Female Artiste in Taiwan, and she was the only Taiwan artiste who won an award on that night.
Backstage, when asked about her latest album, Elva said "It's almost finished. I've done some of the music arrangement myself, because I did not want to have the same kind of music video as before."
