Elva Serenades 20000 Fans

It has been more than 4 years since Elva last staged her Up2U Taipei concert, and she is finally back on stage to wow her fans with her stunning performance last night in Taiwan's Fisherman Port.

Elva indeed put up a stellar performance, with more than 5 costume outfit changes (worth NT$1.2m) that showed off her svelte figure. Despite her leg injury just a few months ago, Elva performed some highly challenging dance sequences, and to accentuate the overall style of the costumes, she even wore 15cm high heels!

However during her dance, she still wore track shoes to prevent any injury. Before the concert, she revealed "Besides my bandage, I have to hang on using my will power." With NT$5m worth of accessories, just like an actual selling concert, her record company insured Elva for NT$30m.

The concert started with the video of the dogs of Elva, Jolin and Stefanie, afterwhich the 900 inch screen displayed the words "Elva is Back" to signify that Elva the pop diva had returned to the performing stage.

Elva then emerged, wearing a blue sapphire coloured dress, with her 38 dancers to perform her hit song "表白".

Following that she continued to stir up the atmosphere by performing another dance number "Free" on a carousel, proving to everyone her dancing queen talent.

After changing to her 2nd costume, Elva sang "然後" with Taiwanese rapper 倪子刚 on a couch and acted lovey dovey.
Then Elva lead the crowd to dance with her the song "L.o.V.e.".

Elva and Show also performed a dance and song "恋爱达人" together. Show even performed his latest dance number "精武门".

Next Elva changed into a silver glittery dress to sing her past hits such as "美丽的插曲", "窗外的天气", "吻" and "最熟悉的陌生人".

In between songs, she invited her brother and her best pal up onto stage.

As Elva mum just had an operation, she was unable to attend the concert. However, Elva had called her before the concert. "She said she will give me all her energy and she will pray for me," Elva said.

She specially dedicated Sandy Lam's "至少還有你" (At Least I Still Have You) to her mum, and she could not contain her emotions and cried while singing. She said "All I want to say is that, Mummy I love you!". She broked down once again when she sang her self-penned song "我要的世界" (The World that I Want). She said she had a lot of feeling for this song because she wrote it during the period when she could not release her album.

Her brother called Elva's mum immediately, to which all the fans at the concert gave their best wishes.

Lastly, the atmosphere was so high that Elva came back for an encore of "代言人" (Spokesperson).
