Elva turned up in Shanghai in a wheelchair to promote her latest album, 1087, opening the press conference with her song "Honey Honey Honey".
She revealed that after 3 months of recuperation, she will be able to resume dancing, and she can''t wait to do so.
After a 3-year long wait, she initially wanted to show off the dance moves that she learned from America, but due to her leg injury and the drug allegations, she was unable to perform for her fans.
She told reporters that due to her leg injury, she is unable to climb staircases, and long hours of sitting down causeed her leg to be swollen. So her doctor helped her prepared a few bottles of chinese medicine, to be taken before every meal.
She had been exchanging emails with the U.S. specialist and she even flew to U.S. for consultation. After the Chinese New Year she will be flying back for further treatment.
When asked what's the first thing that she wants to do when she recovers, she said that she will be very satisfied to be able to wear normal shoes and walk around aimlessly. She even joked that most of her left shoes are new and her right ones are very old.
