Elva continued her China promotional tour in Guangzhou on 14 Feb 2007.

On the delay of her album:

"Actually 300 days ago, I was taking lessons in U.S.. However due to the management changes of my record company from top to down, even my publicity team left, so my record was delayed. At the thime I felt useless, it's like 'what good luck I have!' (活见鬼), and I had the urge to leave too. Luckily after 700 days, the management was reorganized, everything was back to where we had left off, including my album. For this album, I was involved in many areas including seletion of songs, lyrics, album image and dance moves. This is a very special album, and I hope everyone will like it."

On her relationship with Warner Music:
"Our relationship is very good! There's many nice producers and collaborators. We have the same vision for music, so I'm very satisfied with this album. I'm very happy to work with them... Terminating my contract with Warner Music is like breaking up with a boyfriend. They had promised me that they will try to release my album ASAP, but they don't even have a general manager, how are they suppose to release my album? So I terminated the contract one and for all. But I don't blame them, because they can't control the management shuffle, but I had to protect my personal interest. I thought that even if we were to reconciliate, it would be through normal negotiations. Luckily Warner had everything back on track, there were alot of talented people, so we continued our collaboration. I think it's fate."

On her injury:

"Now the condition of my leg is so much better, I had tried taking small steps in my room, but I can't apply too much pressure on my left leg. Actually when I 1st injured myself, I was very sad because I can't showed everyone the dance moves that I had learned. But after that I felt it was OK. Because previously everyone noticed Elva as a great dancer, so this injury allowed everyone to focus on my ballads, thus re-discovering my music... I would be envious of people who can walk and get off the car normally, but I know health is most important. Having this injury allowed me to emphatised with those with the same injury. I'm very lucky because I have my publicity team to help me and family members to take care of me, but what about those who can't even take care of themselves? How are they going to find a job and live their lives? I really want to help them."

On how her injury had affected her album:
"I went to the U.S. to learn some new dance steps, even the 1st song is a dance number. Because of this injury I had to focus on my ballads instead. I felt that it's abit of a pity. But from another viewpoint, let everyone listen to my ballads first, when I have recovered, I will continue to promote my dance numbers. The production fees for this album is 4 times more than other singers, so I hope to spend more time promoting it, to let everyone have the opportunity to hear all my songs.“

On her latest album:
"(Because she was involved in huge part of production), therefore there was a lot of pressure since I had not seen everyone for 3 years, but I felt happy. My record company just told me that my album was the best selling one in China for December."

On her next album:
"I definitely hope that it's not 3 years later, but I also hope not to rush my albums as before so as to focus on the quality.“

On Valentine's Day:

"Because I do not have a boyfriend now, so Valentine's Day is just another 14 Feb... I will not feel envious when I see loving couples, instead I feel happy for them. For those truly in love, every day is a Valentine's Day, regardless of the occasion.


On the coming Lunar New Year:

"This Lunar New Year I will be staying in Taipei for a few days to be with my family, as well as take care of my grandmother, who had suffered a stroke...(After which she will fly off to the U.S.) I specially paid a visit to 2 specialist who had conducted rehabilitation for Olympic chanpions and ballet dancers, and I hope I can shorten the rehabilitation process.

Elva will be continuing her promotional tour in Asia after her recuperation in the U.S..
